International Investors
A Practical Route Into U.S. Residential Real Estate From Abroad
Investing across borders fails on logistics more often than on strategy. Our role is to make the U.S. side of the process workable: sourcing, acquisition, improvement, tenanting and day-to-day operations.
The Experience
What working with us looks like
Each step below is coordinated by our team, with the investor retaining decision-making and their own professional advisers.

- 01
U.S. residential asset exposure
Direct exposure to tangible residential property in selected U.S. markets, rather than an indirect or purely financial instrument.
- 02
U.S.-dollar rental income
Tenanted assets generate rental income in U.S. dollars, which many international investors hold as part of a broader currency and asset allocation view.
- 03
Property selection
We shortlist properties based on rental demand, condition, operating cost profile and long-term suitability, and present the reasoning behind each candidate.
- 04
U.S. entity / structure coordination
Where an investor chooses to hold property through a U.S. entity, we coordinate with the investor's own attorneys and accountants and with the relevant service providers. Global House Investments does not provide legal or tax advice.
- 05
Banking and closing coordination
We help coordinate the practical steps around U.S. banking relationships, funds transfer instructions, title and closing agents, and remote signing where permitted.
- 06
Acquisition
Offer, contract, inspection, title work and closing are managed with the investor kept informed at each decision point.
- 07
Renovation
Where required, scope, budget and schedule are defined and the work is managed toward rent-ready condition.
- 08
Section 8 / tenant placement when applicable
Tenant screening and placement follow applicable fair-housing and local requirements. Where a property and household participate in the Housing Choice Voucher program, the local public housing agency conducts its inspection and approval process.
- 09
Property operations
Rent collection, maintenance, renewals and turnovers are handled through our operating partners so the investor does not manage the asset from abroad.
- 10
Ongoing support
Periodic reporting, asset strategy discussions and coordination for refinancing, additional acquisitions or eventual disposition.
Important
Independent advice
Cross-border ownership, entity structuring, withholding, reporting and estate considerations differ by investor nationality, residency and circumstances.
Investors should consult their own legal and tax advisers in their home jurisdiction and in the United States before acquiring U.S. property. Global House Investments does not provide legal, tax, accounting or immigration advice.
Opportunities are subject to availability, due diligence, qualification and risk. Rent, occupancy, Housing Choice Voucher approval, banking arrangements, financing, performance and returns are not guaranteed.
